Some significant accomplishments by Lisa Yeager include:

  • Walk Now for Autism in Tacoma walk funds doubled from $41K to $83K in 2008 when the economy was turning, and walks nationwide were falling short of goals.
  • Organized and directed volunteers, walkers and teams for the Seattle Walk Now for Autism, doubling agency’s team fundraising average with $1120 per team with 70% walker retention by good support and communication raising $300K with over 2000 walkers.
  • Program development - increased membership and programs by 50% and doubled number of volunteers from 100 to 200 regular volunteers for a Senior Center.
  • Consistently effective volunteer recruitment, placement, and recognition lead to growth of volunteers and resources in four non-profit organizations. Grew and developed volunteers into leadership positions.
  • Increased volunteers from 420 to 630 in two years for Volunteer Chore program serving local elders, while doubling the number of partner organizations.
  • School Mentoring program volunteer retention rate of 75% compared to 47% district wide in school district.
